Working with Weblinks

The Web Links Manager is a Component of the website which allows you to add, edit and remove links to other web sites on your school web site, and to organize them into categories. You can then display these links on your site. We already know that categories are used to group together similar content and it is the same with web links.  In this session therefore you will learn how to:

  • Understand the difference between external and internal weblinks
  • Access the Web links manager component
  • Create categories  to group your web link together
  • Create new web links and assign them to categories
  • Ensure weblinks to external websites open in a new window

Note on Session Joining: The ZOOM session URL will be emailed to you a few days before the session date. When you join the ZOOM session, you will enter the Waiting Room and will see our logo until the session starts.

The session is only open to schools where an active support agreement is in place.
